Manchester United are pushing for Rasmus Hojlund now, and they feel they are closing in on a deal for the striker. Talks are continuing today between both clubs.
Atalanta expect to lose Hojlund this summer and have already signed El Bilal Toure from Almeria to replace the Danish striker. Hojlund is desperate to join Manchester United.
Talks are ongoing and United are starting to feel like the end of the deal is near.
United At Match Point For Hojlund:
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Atalanta will have direct talks over Rasmus Hojlund today to try and finalise the deal.
United are now starting to feel like the deal is at match point, and are hoping to reach an agreement over the weekend with the Italian club if possible.
Atalanta value Hojlund at around €70million, but United are likely to try and get a compromise for around €65million. Hojlund has already agreed personal terms with United on a five-year deal.
PSG made a €50million bid for the Danish striker yesterday but he is not currently interested in their proposal. Any deal with PSG would only be explored if United failed to agree with Atalanta for his signing.
United feel that they are in endgame in the Rasmus Hojlund deal, and this weekend’s talks are now crucial to finalising a deal.
