French media are now under the belief Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice. This comes despite Harry Maguire staying at the club.
Maguire’s future seems firmly in Manchester after his move to West Ham fell through, and that made it unlikely for United to chase another defender.
Reports in France however believe they are closing in on the signing of Jean-Clair Todibo.
As reported by L’Equipe, Manchester United are now close to the signing of Jean-Clair Todibo from OGC Nice.
The report goes on to state that Nice are already looking for a replacement due to the fact they consider Todibo gone.
Manchester United do need new players but the feeling has been a midfielder was a priority. That is followed closely by a veteran striker.
If the reports in France are to be believed, United are getting their hands on a top centre-back. A fee is likely to be around £30million. The Red’s have informed Bayern they no longer wish to sign Benjamin Pavard.
Jean-Clair Todibo, reportedly nearing a United move.
