Manchester United signed Alejandro Garnacho, Alvaro Fernandez and Marc Jurado all in one summer in 2020, but it looks like one of those players could now be leaving the club.
Jurado was signed from Barcelona’s youth but at 19-years old there is no sign of a first-team breakthrough just yet. There is interest from Spain, and Jurado may be tempted to go back to his home nation.
It would be a huge blow to United as Jurado is highly rated.
As reported by Academy Scoop, Manchester United could lose Spanish right-back Marc Jurado this summer. The player is contemplating a return to Spain.
Jurado has been a regular staple for United’s u-19 and u-21 sides over the course of the last three years, but has gotten no closer to breaking into the first-team.
The Spaniard has been left out of tonight’s u-21 game against Stockport because of his potential departure from the club. It may be imminent.
Interest is rife in Spain for the United full-back. A return to Barcelona cannot be ruled out, and United now seem resigned to losing a top prospect.
Marc Jurado, set to leave Manchester United.
