Atalanta seem to be playing some games when it comes to the asking price for Rasmus Hojlund, but Manchester United remain confident they will sign the player in the end.
PSG are offering Hojlund a bigger wage than United but the player has no intentions of accepting the offer from the French champions. Hojlund is focused only on joining United.
United could wrap up a deal before the end of the week.
As reported by Di Marzio, Manchester United expect to reach an agreement with Atalanta to sign Rasmus Hojlund. A bid is anticipated soon.
Atalanta are looking for around €70million plus add-ons but it’s unlikely United’s opening offer is near that. The opening offer is likely to be €65million with some bonuses on top.
United have a full agreement on personal terms with Hojlund. The player is head over heels about joining the club he grew up supporting. The deal is a five-year deal with one year additional on top.
The Red’s believe it’s a matter of time now before a deal is concluded. Hojlund will travel to Manchester as soon as deal is agreed between the two clubs.
Focus could then switch to a midfielder if United wrap up a deal for Hojlund. Sofyan Amrabat remains a huge target.
