Manchester United are expected to make a £50million bid to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund this window. Hojlund has been named as Erik ten Hag’s prime striker target.
The Danish striker has been on United’s radar for some time and the club have additionally been scouting him over the course of last season.
United will launch a bid for Rasmus Hojlund this summer despite Atalanta’s current asking price.
As reported by Sam Wallace of the Telegraph, Manchester United will launch a £50million bid for Rasmus Hojlund in this window. Erik ten Hag has decided on the Danish striker for his next number nine.
United are signing a goalkeeper before a striker but remain adamant on signing a number nine this summer. Randal Kolo Muani and Hojlund were the two main targets this summer.
Hojlund looks to have won the vote over Muani. The Italian club want a reported £70million for Hojlund, but United will try lure him away with a £50million bid.
Personal terms will not be a problem for United with Hojlund as the player really wants the move and is desperate to play for United. He grew up a Manchester United fan, and is always liking their posts on Instagram.
The club are currently in the process of sealing a deal for Andre Onana, with the Inter keeper agreeing personal terms.
