Manchester United as revealed earlier are keen to wrap up a bid for Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, and a bid is now imminent. United are keen to make sure PSG do not hijack a move for the player, and are ready to make their offer.
Atalanta are resigned to the fact they could lose Hojlund but they are also keen to get the right fee. United are expected to bid around €60million for the player.
A written offer will be made Monday, as talks continue over the weekend.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Manchester United are now anticipated to launch a written offer for Rasmus Hojlund on Monday.
Conversations will continue between intermediaries over tomorrow and Sunday, with Monday now being a likely deadline for a written offer.
Atalanta’s price according to Italian media is €70million including add-ons. United are expected to offer a fixed amount of €60million, with add-ons on top of that.
United are also looking for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani if a deal cannot be agreed with Atalanta, but Rasmus Hojlund is the clubs prime target. Erik ten Hag is sold on the Danish striker, and wants him in before the season starts.
PSG remain in talks with Hojlund’s agents, but United already have an agreement on personal terms with the player.
