Manchester United will raise their offer for Andre Onana in the next few days to a fee of €52million. Inter want €60million for Onana. United believe they can sign him for under that fee.
Verbal offers have been sent to Inter from United for Onana, but both offers have been turned down by the Italian side. The last bid United made was €45million, but they were always expected to bid again after it was rejected.
A consistent belief of those close to the deal is that there is definitely a deal to be done for the player..
United To Bid €52million For Onana:
As reported by Daniele Mari of Sky Sports Italy, Manchester United will make a €52million bid for Andre Onana in the coming days. Inter will have to decide whether they want to accept that or hold out for €60million.
United are currently without a goalkeeper after David De Gea’s contract ran out, and Andre Onana is the keeper Erik ten Hag is desperate to sign.
Mason Mount was unveiled as United’s first signing today, and Onana is the current favourite to become the second. John Murtough is holding the negotiations with Inter at the moment, as reported by David Ornstein.
Speaking on the situation, Ornstein’s suggested there was definitely a deal to be done when it comes to Onana. United will continue to push, and they will feel €52million is a very fair bid for the goalkeeper.
No breakthrough as of yet, but United are now seriously pushing to make Andre Onana their second summer signing.
