Manchester United have now made official contact with Bayern Munich for Benjamin Pavard. United are interested in the French defender to possibly replace Harry Maguire.
Maguire is close to signing for West Ham but United want a deal agreed for a replacement before they sanction the deal. Pavard is one of the players on the list alongside Jean-Clair Todibo.
Pavard is keen to leave Bayern this summer.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have contacted Bayern Munich over the possible signing of Benjamin Pavard.
Pavard is keen to try a new chapter this summer and would be open to a United move. The Red’s have been deciding between the Frenchman and Todibo.
Harry Maguire is waiting for United to find a replacement so he can complete a move to West Ham. The Hammer’s will pay United £30million for the services of Maguire.
Bayern are expected to look for around £25million for Pavard. The centre-back is in the final year of his contract at the club.
Contact made by United, but Bayern would prefer to keep the player. Talks on.
