As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have today sent an improved bid of more than €60million to Atalanta for Rasmus Hojlund.

United are trying to close a deal for Hojlund as quick as they can so they can focus on other positions. A move for Sofyan Amrabat is on the cards.

Hojlund will wait for Atalanta to finalise a deal but he is obsessed with joining Manchester United at this stage. Atalanta wanted €70million originally but United are hoping they will accept just below that.

The Italian club have already signed a replacement in El Bilal Toure as they have anticipated Hojlund’s departure. PSG sent a bid of €50million yesterday but it is not thought to be enough to get a deal done.

United feel they are now at match point for the deal, and want to get it done ASAP.
