West Ham have made a £30million bid for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, but it has been rejected by the Red’s.
The Hammer’s made two separate bids for Harry Maguire and McTominay today but the one of McTominay has been rejected. The Maguire one remains a bit closer in valuation.
It’s unknown whether West Ham will try again for McTominay.
As reported by Samuel Luckhurst, Manchester United have rejected a £30million bid for Scott McTominay from West Ham.
United value McTominay at closer to £40million than £30million. The bid has been rejected and it’s now down to West Ham to decide whether to try again,
The Hammer’s also made a bid for Harry Maguire and the clubs remain in direct contact over that deal. There is some confidence an agreement can be reached.
United would be left short in midfield if McTominay left but do have alternatives in defence in the event Maguire leaves. Jean-Clair Todibo tops that list.
Bid rejected for now, West Ham will need to bid again to get McTominay.
