Manchester United have reportedly sped up negotiations with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat in recent hours. The Moroccan is a prime target for Erik ten Hag in midfield, but the feeling is United will only sign him if they sell players first.

Donny Van De Beek admitted he could leave United today in an interview after the game against Lyon and Fred has been linked to various clubs over the last few days. Amrabat would be the prime target in the event of that happening.

Negotiations have now moved quickly between the two clubs, with the agent of Amrabat in Florence.

United Speed Up Chase For Amrabat:

As reported by Moroccan journalist Izem Anass, Manchester United have sped up negotiations with Fiorentina to sign Sofyan Amrabat.

Amrabat’s agent Mohamed Sinouh is reportedly in Florence now as negotiations are speeding up. Fiorentina are a tough club to deal with, and would look for around £30million to sell Amrabat.

Liverpool were linked with the Fiorentina midfielder in recent days but there interest has now been downplayed. United lead the race as of now.

Erik ten Hag managed Amrabat in the past at Utrecht, and the player is open to a reunion with his former manager. The Moroccan midfielder previously had a preference to move to Spain but interest has not materialized as of yet.

Fred may still need to be sold alongside Donny Van De Beek to sanction a move for Amrabat.
