Manchester United have finally started negotiations for Sofyan Amrabat. The player has been waiting patiently for United to come his way after agreeing personal terms verbally. United have contacted Fiorentina, and talks are underway to come to an agreement.
United need a defensive midfielder to help Casemiro this season and Amrabat is the player they’ve wanted all season. The club have held off to raise funds up until now, but seem ready to lauch a bid for the player.
Amrabat has given United the green light since June.
As reported by Di Marzio, Manchester United have finally started negotiations with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat.
It looked for a while like United had given up on signing more players. Amrabat has always been waiting for United. It now looks like they’ve finally decided to keep their word.
Fiorentina will look for a fee of around £25million. There is no agreement between the clubs yet, but they are working hard to find an agreement.
Amrabat is currently training on his own. The Moroccan was left out of the Fiorentina squad for their Conference League game yesterday. He is ready to leave.
Negotiations underway for Amrabat. United will hope to wrap up a deal quick.
