Manchester United have submitted an improved bid of €50million for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana. This comes after United had a bid rejected for Onana worth €45million two days ago.
The Red’s are now optimistic of signing Andre Onana. The player is keen on the move and the club are now pushing to complete the deal before pre-season.
Inter Milan have always wanted €60million, but a compromise could now be close.
United Improve Onana Bid:
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have submitted a new bid for Andre Onana. The bid is €45million+ €5million in add-ons. United are now confident of concluding a deal.
Inter are open to selling Onana but the price has to be right for the club. They are likely to use the funds from Onana’s sale to pursue a move for Romelu Lukaku.
United are closing in on the sale of Dean Henderson for around £30million, which would mean Tom Heaton would be the club’s only recognised goalkeeper. David De Gea is unlikely to return to the club after his contract ran out.
It is likely that Inter will reject this bid but ask United to raise it just €5million more. Onana has given United the green light already. All that’s left now is for the two clubs to close the deal.
Negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs to try and come to a conclusion.
