Manchester United have submitted their opening proposal to Atalanta for Rasmus Hojlund. The proposal is a €60million package.
Atalanta’s initial hopes for the fee was €70million overall so it’s unlikely they will accept United’s first verbal proposal. Talks will likely continue until both clubs can come to an agreement.
PSG are continuing to hold talks for Hojlund in case they can try and hijack the deal.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have now submitted a verbal proposal for Rasmus Hojlund to Atalanta.
The layout of the deal is €50+€10million. Atalanta are expected to stand clear on their initial valuation of €70million for the Danish striker.
United will not stop there if their initial proposal is not accepted. Hojlund is the main target for the club. Atalanta have already signed a replacement in the shape of El Bilal Toure in the event Hojlund leaves.
The Red’s have a full agreement on personal terms with Hojlund. PSG are yet to do so but are trying as hard as they can in negotiations with Hojlund’s agents.
Bid submitted for Hojlund. Now it’s up to Atalanta to decide.
