Manchester United are now moving quick to tie down a replacement for Harry Maguire, and Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich is on the potential list.
Pavard can play right-back and centre-back which will intrigue Erik ten Hag as he likes versatile players. United are in discussions with Bayern Munich, and they’re said to be concrete.
The French defender would cost United around £30million.
As reported by Florian Plettenburg of Sky Sports Germany, Manchester United are in concrete talks with Bayern Munich over the signing of Benjamin Pavard.
Pavard has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich all summer and it now looks like he may get it. Liverpool and Manchester City have previous interest in the defender.
Bayern Munich are reportedly willing to find an agreement with Manchester United over a fee for Pavard. The player is keen to join United, and all parties are now working on a verbal agreement.
Jean-Clair Todibo is also someone United admire and he could be bought for around £30million. Todibo would be a defender United could mould for the next ten years if signed.
Pavard heating up, but not done yet.
