Manchester United have made a €60million offer for Rasmus Hojlund, but they do have alternatives in case Atalanta continue to play hardball over the fee.
The Italian side at present are holding out for a fee of around €70million, which means there’s a €10million gap in valuations between the two sides. United have alternatives on the list if a deal falls apart.
Randal Kolo Muani and Mohammed Kudus are those players.
United Eye Kolo Muani & Kudus:
As reported by David Ornstein of the Athletic, Manchester United are interested in Randal Kolo Muani and Mohammed Kudus in the event of a breakdown in the Rasmus Hojlund deal.
United are optimistic of signing Hojlund and talks remain ongoing between both clubs to try and reach an agreement. PSG’s presence is complicating the deal, but United have 100% personal terms agreed with Hojlund. PSG don’t.
Kudus played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and Randal Kolo Muani has been a player the club have admired for some time. Neither fit the bill of out and out strikers, which is what Erik ten Hag will hope the club can get with Hojlund.
Eintracht Frankfurt value Kolo Muani at around £75million, which is more than Atalanta are looking for Rasmus Hojlund at current. Mohammed Kudus has a price tag of around £40million.
United continue their push for Hojlund, but alternatives are there if needed.
