Manchester United midfielder Fred has now agreed personal terms with Turkish club Galatasaray. The Brazilian is now almost certain to leave the club this summer.
United are ready to cash in on Fred as they look to bring in some new younger midfielders to the squad. Galatasaray have made the Brazilian a priority for the summer window and are now pushing to make a deal happen.
Galatasaray still have to agree a fee with Manchester United.
As reported by Sky Sports News, Manchester United midfielder Fred has now agreed personal terms with Galatasaray.
Fred has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs in recent weeks. Fulham showed interest, as well as a number of clubs in Saudi Arabia. Galatasaray however seem to be the club pushing most.
United are looking for around £15-20million to sell the midfielder, who has been at the club since 2018. The Red’s believe now is the right time for Fred to move on.
Sofyan Amrabat will be someone United will pursue as soon as a deal for Fred is done. Amrabat is a priority target in the midfield for Erik ten Hag, and talks are ongoing with Fiorentina over a potential transfer.
Personal terms are now agreed, and it’s up to the clubs to come to an agreement on a transfer.
