Despite recent rumours trying to tell a tale to the contrary, Manchester United are not negotiating to sign either Harry Kane or Kylian Mbappe. The Red’s focus is on Rasmus Hojlund.
A bid will be sent to Atalanta from Manchester United this week. Atalanta want around €70million for the Dane, United’s opening bid will likely be around €60million.
Kylian Mbappe and Kane are of course interests to United, but they are set with Hojlund.
United Set On Hojlund:
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are not negotiating for Harry Kane or Kylian Mbappe. They do not see either player coming into the club this summer.
Mbappe has an offer from Al Hilal in the Saudi League worth around €700million a year. Al Hilal sent a bid of around €300million to PSG today. They are likely to accept.
Harry Kane may leave Spurs if he does not sign a new deal. Bayern Munich lead the race, and PSG are also looking into signing him. United want Hojlund, and are keen to get a deal done this week to ward off interest from PSG.
Contacts took place over the weekend between Atalanta and United over Hojlund. Personal terms are agreed, and Atalanta are looking at striker as they prepare for life without the 20-year old.
United focused on Hojlund.
