Manchester United are now preparing an official bid for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana worth around £39million, after the Red’s told Inter they were willing to increase their bid verbally last night. Inter want £51million for Onana, but United are adamant on signing the player this summer.

Inter maintain they want £51million including add-ons for Onana. With such a small gap in valuations there is an expectation this deal will get done. Onana is open to the move, and Erik ten Hag is pushing to sign the goalkeeper.

Andre Onana is Manchester United’s prime target at the moment, with United now unlikely to renew the contract of David De Gea despite scheduled talks. The former United keeper has offers from Saudi Arabia, but is yet to make a decision on his future.

United Prepare Official Onana Bid:

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are preparing an official £39million bid for Inter Milan’s Andre Onana. The offer will come in the next few hours as an official bid.

The Red’s are looking to move on from David De Gea after his contract ran out and Andre Onana is the number one target to replace him.

United look to be choosing a goalkeeper over a striker as a priority over a striker. The club are looking at Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani as possible strikers.

Andre Onana is the club’s second target after Mason Mount, who signed a five-year deal on Tuesday. Onana is open to the move and has given Manchester United the green light. The formal bid will arrive later on today.
