PSG have long standing interest in Marcus Rashford and have reportedly reignited their pursuit of the player in recent weeks. With Kylian Mbappe expected to leave, the French club are looking for an adequate replacement. Rashford fits that profile.
United have always wanted Rashford to stay and the club and the player have had only positive talks regarding a new contract in recent weeks. Rashford is fully expected to commit his future to the club, and United are fully aware of that.
The Red’s are not worried by any interest coming from PSG.
United Relaxed Over Rashford:
As reported by TalkSport, Manchester United are relaxed over the future of Marcus Rashford. The winger is said to be close to renewing his contract at Unted.
The extension is expected to be signed in the coming weeks. Rashford has never been in doubt about his future, and United have always been confident of keeping him.
Rashford is coming off the back of the best individual season of his career and United want to honour that with a new lucrative contract. PSG are looking to replace Mbappe, but they will have to look elsewhere.
Manchester United are set for the next number of years on the left hand side with Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho. Both players have the potential to be elite, and if Rashford matches his performances from last season he will definitely be in that bracket already.
The United academy graduate will return from holiday soon to begin his pre-season. An announcement on a new contract is anticipated before the beginning of the new season.
