Manchester United have sent a scout to watch OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo tonight, but he was not the only player they were watching. Khephren Thuram was also on their list.
Thuram has been a target for Liverpool this summer before they moved their attention elsewhere, and United are taking a keen look at him tonight.
United could make a move for Todibo in the coming weeks, but Thuram could be a surprise player they move for.
United Send Scout For Thuram:
As reported by GFFN, Manchester United sent a scout to watch Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram tonight Lille in the French League.
United are looking for Todibo from Nice to replace Harry Maguire, but Thuram is also someone the club sent a scout to watch.
Liverpool had a keen interest in Thuram in June, but walked away from a deal over the fee. Nice wanted around £60million for the midfielder.
United are unlikely to reach that fee without Scott McTominay leaves the club, but scouting may be done just in case. West Ham remain interested in McTominay but are yet to make a move.
Sofyan Amrabat remains the main target for United, but Thuram could be one to watch in the coming weeks as the window draws to a close.
