Anthony Martial’s Manchester United career seems like it could be coming to an end, and he may be offered a life-line in the form of the Saudi Arabian league.
United have already benefited from Saudi interest with the sale of Alex Telles for £7million, and could get around £20million if they sell Anthony Martial.
There is yet to be an offer, but a number of clubs remain interest in the Frenchman.
Saudi Interest In Anthony Martial:
As reported by Mirror Sport, Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has interest from the Saudi League. United may look to off-load the striker this summer.
Erik ten Hag is aware he must sell to buy this summer, and Martial would generate a decent fee if he was sold. A forward may be needed to aid Rasmus Hojlund, and the sale of the French striker could pave the way to buying one.
Martial’s injury record is a huge problem for United as they cannot rely on him. A sale could be best for all parties, with the Saudi League eager to get more big names into the league.
No offer has been made as of yet but it’s something that is being explored. It’s expected United would be open to any sale if a reasonable offer came in.
Interest in Martial for now, with no bid as of yet.
