This is a key week for Manchester United and their pursuit of Sofyan Amrabat, and the player is now training away from the Fiorentina squad. United are expected to try and land the player in the coming days but must first offload Donny Van De Beek. Amrabat has already given United the green light. He is waiting for a bid.

Amrabat has been on United’s radar since January. A loan was proposed to Fiorentina at the time but it was turned down. The Italian side were only interested in a permanent deal. That led to United signing Marcel Sabitzer.

United will try to land either Amrabat or Ryan Gravenberch in the final days of the window.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano has confirmed Sofyan Amrabat will not travel for their next game. He is also training alone as things stand, away from the main group.

United feel Amrabat is the midfielder they need alongside Casemiro for the remainder of the season. A move for both Amrabat and Ryan Gravenberch has not been ruled out.

In terms of the fee it’s likely Amrabat will cost United around £25million. The Red’s must wait to sell Donny Van De Beek before making an official move.

The fact Amrabat is training on his own may suggest a move is close. United will have to move quick however, as Liverpool also have interest in Amrabat.

United have important business this week!
