Manchester United are invested in the signing of Rasmus Hojlund, and they are set to make an official bid in the coming hours. United’s focus has switched quickly after completing a deal for Andre Onana, and they now want to land their number nine.

Hojlund is very keen on a move to United this summer. Personal terms have been agreed and all that remains now is for a club to club agreement to be reached.

Atalanta want around €70million, and reporters in Italy believe that is the bid United will make.

United To Bid For Hojlund:

Rasmus Hojlund

As reported by Andrea Losapio of TuttoMercatoWeb, Manchester United will submit an official bid of €70million for Rasmus Hojlund. The bid is anticipated to arrive in the coming hours.

United completed a deal for Andre Onana yesterday, with the medical and contract signing taking place. Onana will fly out to New York today to meet his team-mates for pre-season, and could be announced at some stage today.

The lack of a number nine in the squad is still something the club want to address. Rasmus Hojlund is the main target after the club were priced out of moves for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen. Atalanta want €70million, and United have been tipped to bid that soon.

United are optimistic of a deal but are wary of Atalanta being a tough club to deal with. The clubs have held discussions but nothing concrete has been placed on the table yet. The Red’s proposed a player plus cash deal for Hojlund, but Atalanta just want cash.

The next few days will be key for Hojlund and United. The Red’s want the player in for the beginning of the season.
