Manchester United are not changing their plan on Rasmus Hojlund, and intend to make a bid for him soon. PSG are in contact with the agent of Hojlund, but United believe they can get a deal done.
Hojlund’s preference above any club is Manchester United. The player is fully sold on the idea of joining United. PSG would only become a consideration if United and Atalanta could not agree a fee.
A bid will come through in the next few days from United.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United’s intent is to send a bid to Atalanta for Rasmus Hojlund soon.
The Italian side are looking for around €70million including add-ons for the Danish striker. United’s opening bid is looking like being around €60million.
Hojlund has agreed personal terms with United. All that’s left in the deal now is the club to club agreement. United are confident that they can win the race despite PSG’s interest.
PSG remain in talks with Goncalo Ramos, and could be using Hojlund as a smoke screen in negotiations with Benfica. We understand any deal for Hojlund and PSG is not advanced as this stage.
Key days in the race for Rasmus Hojlund.
