Manchester United are keen on signing Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat and they are now expected to open formal talks with the club for the player soon.
Amrabat is waiting for Manchester United and has turned down some big offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia in order to give priority to United.
Erik ten Hag is keen on Amrabat, and United are now likely to move soon.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United will open formal talks with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat soon.
Amrabat was not called up for the Fiorentina game today as the club prepare for his exit. United are now ready to push for the Moroccan.
Fred and Donny Van De Beek are close to leaving the club and that means United now have the funds for Amrabat. Fiorentina are expected to ask for around £20million for the midfielder.
Amrabat has said yes to Manchester United and is keen on reuniting with his former manager Erik ten Hag. A deal is not likely to take long, and could be agreed as soon as United send a bid.
Formal talks expected soon, United are ready for Amrabat.
