N’Golo Kante will not be staying at Chelsea next season, as the French midfielder is now on the verge of joining Saudi club Al Ittihad on a free transfer. The deal is now in the final stages.
Kante will not sign a new deal at Chelsea and will be the second big name to join Al Ittihad this week after Real Madrid midfielder Karim Benzema joined the club last week.
The deal is set to be worth around €100million.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, N’Golo Kante is now on the verge of leaving Chelsea for Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.
Chelsea decided against renewing the contract of N’Golo Kante as the player’s injury record over the last few seasons have been less than impressive, and Al Ittihad want to sign him.
The final details of the deal are now being discussed with Kante and his camp, and the proposal is expected to be accepted after the discussions have ended.

Chelsea have no say in the negotiations and no fee will be paid from Al Ittihad to Chelsea due to the fact Kante is out of contract at Chelsea at the end of this month.
There was initial plans for Chelsea to renew Kante a few months ago but that all changed when he became injured again.
Al Ittihad are now very confident of finalising a €100million a year deal to sign Kante in the coming hours. The deal will be until 2025.
