Rasmus Hojlund has been consistent from the beginning of the transfer window about his desire to move to Manchester United, and that hasn’t changed with the emergence of PSG in the race.
United are currently in pole position to sign Hojlund. The Red’s have the higher bid than PSG and already have personal terms fully agreed with the player.
Hojlund has instructed Atalanta to give Manchester United priority in the deal.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Rasmus Hojlund is still adamant on joining Manchester United this summer instead of PSG.
PSG launched a bid of €50million for Hojlund yesterday but United already have a €60million bid in place. The French club are willing to walk away if their €50million bid is rejected, but Atalanta are yet to respond.
A new round of talks has been scheduled between United and Atalanta. Erik ten Hag hopes to have the deal wrapped up Rasmus Hojlund before Athletic Bilbao game on August 6th in Dublin.
There is a sense of confidence within United that a deal can be done, but as of now there is still some work to do before an agreement is made.
Hojlund is set on Manchester United and the feeling now is that if Manchester United present the right fee he will end up at the club this summer.
