Bayern Munich have had a second bid rejected by Tottenham Hotspur for Harry Kane with the transfer saga set to go on throughout pre-season.
Kane’s future at Tottenham has been in doubt since the end of last season due to the fact Spurs finished not only outside the Champions League place but completely outside of the European spots.
He has been offered a new deal by Spurs which has the potential to seriously increase his wage at the club but Kane is in no rush to pen to paper on that deal as he is open to a move to Germany.
According to a report though that won’t be happening anytime soon due to Spurs’ stubborn approach to not letting him go as they have now rejected a bid of £68 million with the North London club holding out for around £100 million.
Bayern Munich know Kane’s situation so with him only having one year left on his current deal they are unlikely to pay that much with their second offer seen as just more negotiations instead of a final attempt.
Thomas Tuchel has spoken to Kane and due to their relationship Bayern are confident that the transfer can happen but Ange Postecoglou is set to speak to the striker about how they can make Spurs a force in England.
That conversation though is not likely to change Kane’s mind about where he wants to play his football in the 2023/24 campaign.
