Fiorentina player Sofyan Amrabat is “Frustrated” with Manchester United following the lack of movement on his transfer situation, according to a report.

The Red Devils have shown they have issues in midfield this season. Although Casemiro controls the defensive midfield spot as things stand, he will not remain top quality forever and some have even already questioned how long he will last as first choice at the club. Erik Ten Hag’s team have looked open in the center of the pitch this season and he could need some help alongside him.

With Scott Mctominay (Linked with a move away to West Ham and, more recently, Bayern Munich) the only other player at the club who can play a role anything like the role the Brazilian plays, United have been linked with deeper lying midfielders to come in and help.

Amrabat is one of those and he is seemingly attempting to angle a move away from Fiorentina before the end of the transfer window on September 1st.

He was strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford earlier in the summer but now a move looks less likely, with rumours slowing down and other midfielder such as Ryan Gravenberch being linked.

The Telegraph (Via UtdPlug) have said that talks took place for the club to sign Amrabat but an offer has not yet been made, and the Morrocan international’s entourage have grown “Frustrated” with the lack of activity on a transfer away. It is said they are currently considering the player’s options.
