United need to sell Fred and Donny Van De Beek before moving for Amrabat, and the feeling is a move for Fred is further along than Van De Beek.
Fiorentina will look for around £25million for Amrabat this summer. The Moroccan has given United the green light.
Clubs from Saudi Arabia have offered the midfielder lucrative packages to join but he has turned them down. His priority is United.
