Southampton are now expecting Liverpool to pay the extra £5million fee for midfielder Romeo Lavia. Liverpool are now ready to seal the deal for the Belgian.
Lavia is keen on the move and was left out of Southampton’s squad for their Carabao Cup game last night. He also played no part in the club’s opening Championship game.
There is now a growing feeling Romeo Lavia will be a Liverpool player this summer.
As reported by Sacha Tavolieri, Southampton now expect Liverpool to reach the £50million fee they want for Romeo Lavia.
Lavia is waiting for the two clubs to agree a fee. Liverpool have had 3 rejected so far, but they are now ready to pay up.
£50million has been the fee Southampton have been stating from the beginning. It now looks like they’ll get their wish. Lavia is one of three signings Liverpool hope to get in before the window closes in September.
A centre-back and another midfielder remain on the radar for Jurgen Klopp. Lavia is expected to begin the domino effect of players into the club.
The expectation is there from Southampton, it’s now up to Liverpool.
