Liverpool may still have business to do in terms of outgoings before the transfer window closes on Friday according to a report.
Jurgen Klopp had claimed recently that the focus now would switch to incomings as he aims to complete the re-build of his squad.
The Reds are expected to make a late move for at least one midfielder before the window closes to add to the signings of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo.
They may also look to add a player in defence with many reports claiming a left sided centre-back is a priority.
Swansea Interested in Luke Chambers
According to Tom Coleman, there is interest in defender Luke Chambers, a product from Liverpool’s academy, from Swansea City.
The 19-year-old has also been linked with a move to Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen but the sports writer for Wales Online claims he has been told that the Swans are interested in signing Chambers on loan.
The Transfer Room Verdict
Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas continue to be ahead of Chambers in the Liverpool pecking order so a loan move for the highly rated youngster could be beneficial to all parties.
