Manchester United are not in a rush to sell Harry Maguire this summer, but West Ham are one of the clubs keen on his signature. United will listen to offers for the defender, but want around £40million to part ways in the window.
West Ham are fresh off the £105million sale of Declan Rice and are looking to put some of that money back into the club. David Moyes is a massive fan of Harry Maguire.
The Hammers are interested in both Maguire and Scott McTominay.
West Ham Pushing For Maguire:
As reported by Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, West Ham are pushing to sign Harry Maguire this summer. They have already had a loan offer rebuffed.
United are unwilling to loan players this summer due to their FFP situation. Funds need to be raised so permanent transfers are being prioritised.
Harry Maguire is not someone the club are openly looking to sell but they are open to offers. Maguire wants to stay at the club despite losing the captains armband, but West Ham are willing to test his desire to stay.
The Hammers are unlikely to reach Manchester United’s £40million price tag. They will hope to meet somewhere in the middle, and feel the defender could be sold for around £25-30million.
United would look to sign Axel Disasi or Jean-Clair Todibo if they do sell Harry Maguire this summer.
