West Ham remain interested in Manchester United pair Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire, and they are expected to raise their bids for both players.
A new round of talks has been scheduled between the two clubs to discuss both players. West Ham had two separate bids rejected for Maguire and McTominay yesterday worth £30million each.
The feeling is that Maguire is the more likely of the two to leave right now.
As reported by Florian Plettenburg of Sky Sports Germany, West Ham are expected to raise their bids for Manchester United pair Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.
United want around £35million for Maguire and £40million for McTominay. There could be a scenario where a compromise of £70million for both players gets a deal done.
Maguire is open to joining West Ham. United didn’t plan to sell either player but will not turn down a decent bid for both. Alternatives have been identified in the event they leave.
David Moyes is behind the push for the duo. The Scottish manager is a huge fan of both Maguire and McTominay. Talks will continue today and the feeling is a new improved bid will be launched.
United are monitoring Jean-Clair Todibo and Sofyan Amrabat as replacements.
