Ryan Gravenberch has completed his transfer from Bayern Munich to Liverpool and the shirt number that he will wear for the Reds has been revealed by the club.
The 21-year-old was confirmed as a Liverpool player on Friday after the Anfield hierarchy agreed a deal for a reported €40million with Bayern Munich.
Gravenberch is the fourth addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad this summer following the arrivals of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo.
Links between the Dutch international and Liverpool were a constant all summer although recently it was reported that the Reds would face competition from rivals Manchester United in the race for his signature.
Ryan Gravenberch Shirt Number Revealed
The Reds were able to get a deal over the line however before the window closed on Friday. After completing his medical and signing on formalities, it was revealed that Gravenberch will wear the number 38 shirt.
It is the same number that he wore at Bayern and the first that he wore when he broke into the Ajax first team. The last Liverpool player to wear the number 38 was defender Jon Flanagan.
