Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS could walk away from Manchester United’s takeover situation. They have talked about walking away due to recent demands from the hated Glazer family that are trying to sell the club.

The Glazer’s want to have a say in the day to day events at Manchester United. INEOS had initially stated the owners could continue to hold shares if they sold the club, but the Glazer’s are now asking for more.

Voting rights on the board have been requested by the owners, but Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not interested.

According to Malachians on Twitter, Sir Jim Ratcliffe could walk away from the Manchester United takeover. This comes after the request from the Glazer’s for voting rights on the board.

Sir Jim is aware that the United fans would not take kindly to the Glazer’s having a say at the club. He is not likely to accept the request from the Glazer’s and has spoken about walking away if they persist.

Talks are ongoing between all groups in the sale. Sheikh Jassim remains heavily interested in buying Manchester United, as do a number of minority investors.

Manchester United fans are continuing to protest against the Glazer ownership. The 1958 have launched a website aiming to harm the Glazer’s ownership of the football club.

The fans have had enough, and the potential buyers seem to feel the same.
