Sofyan Amrabat could be set to stay at Fiorentina despite Manchester United interest this summer. The midfielder only wants to join United this summer but that is only if he leaves Italy this window.
However, some reports have jumped the gun recently. Many journalists and publications in Italy have been pushing the move further ahead than it is.
The Red Devils are first focusing on sales from their existing squad. Fred, Donny Van De Beek and Scott McTominay are all up for sale as of this moment.
United want to offload at least one of the three names before advancing on Amrabat. A deal is not imminent and United have not yet bid.
Sofyan Amrabat Could Stay At Fiorentina Despite Manchester United Interest
Speaking after a friendly fixture appearance spoke to the media and said; “I don’t know if I’m leaving, maybe I can stay here at Fiorentina”.
Fabrizio Romano also provided an update, saying; “Told there are no changes: Man Utd keep working on Amrabat and want him — but talks are on player side. No bid… yet.
Reports about official bids last week were premature.”
Amrabat is keen to work under Erik Ten Hag once again. Ten Hag would like to add Amrabat to his squad but a lot must fall into place first.
