Manchester United have not yet given up hope in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham. However, their approach for the striker is being pushed back by Daniel Levy who is adamant that the England international is not for sale no matter what.

United want to sign Kane this summer with the current Spurs man being chosen as Erik Ten Hag’s priority for the position. The Dutchman wants to sign an elite number nine and sees Kane as that exact choice.

Real Madrid have also entered the race to sign Kane this summer since the departure of Karim Benzema. Spurs are not willing to sell to a Premier League rival but could sell to Madrid later in the window.

Kane should want to stay in the Premier League to attempt to break the division’s goal scoring record. His family are also settled in the country and moving to Spain has its complications.

A new report from Simon Jones of Mail Sport says, “Manchester United have been told Harry Kane is NOT for sale. That does not mean United’s pursuit is over but the message from Tottenham is clear.”
